Pool Heat Pumps
Heat pumps are a cost-effective and environmentally friendly way to heat your swimming pool. These heating units use electricity to transfer heat from the air or ground into your pool water. They are a popular choice for swimming pool owners looking to extend the swimming season and maintain a comfortable temperature for their pool year-round.

In addition to installation services, K&M Home Services also offers a wide range of repair and maintenance services for swimming pool heat pumps. Swimming Pool Water Pumps
Pool pumps circulate water through your filtration system, heater, skimmer, and main drain. Your pool pump ensures cleaning chemicals circulate correctly, while keeping the water safe for swimming.
A malfunctioning pool pump can quickly create a no-swim zone, and it can be costly to fix or replace one – that’s why keeping it in proper working order is essential. We offer maintenance service for all types of pool pumps.
K&M Home Services also specializes in installing and repairing variable-speed pool pumps to guarantee your pool time goes uninterrupted.

Types of Pool Pumps We Service & Install
Single Speed
Single-speed pumps are your traditional pool pump and have been used for decades. Once turned on, they run at a constant speed, and while they are the least expensive option, they’re also extremely noisy and inefficient. A single-speed pool pump can be the most expensive appliance in most homes, costing up to $2,000 per year to operate in some areas.
Dual-Speed
A Two-Speed pump is a variation of the single-speed pump in that they both use what’s known as an induction-style motor. The difference is that a two-speed pump has a low-speed option, which is far more efficient than running the pump at high speed all the time. On average, a two-speed pump will save about 50%-70% on energy costs compared to a one-speed pump.
Variable Speed
Most studies show they are 90% more efficient than standard, one-speed pumps.
Variable speed pumps utilize what’s known as a permanent magnet motor – this is the same type of motor used in electric cars. They allow you “dial in” the exact flow rate needed for the pool, reducing the flow rate of water and friction and making the entire system more efficient. Variable pumps are also much quieter, vibrate less, run cooler, last longer, are digitally controlled, and have advanced diagnostics.
Why Upgrade To A Variable Speed Pump?
It could save you thousands of dollars a year. Pool pumps are one of the most common upgrades at K&M Home Services because consumers are more educated than ever. Time and again, and after researching on their own, they almost always go with a variable-speed pump.
Variable-speed pool pumps are quieter and last longer than single or dual-speed pumps.
